I am having trouble getting the DTCPING utility to work across a PIX and
Sidewinder firewall. I have restricted DTS to the 5100 to 5200 ports using
the Microsoft instructions. Firewall rules: 1) Target port 5100 - 5200,
Source port range is <1023 to < 5200 on both servers (2 rules). 2) RPC
Endpoint Mapper port 135 open, source port range >1023 <5000 set for both
servers (2 rules).

I can use the utility successfully between machines on the same segment.

Should I change the Endpoint Mapper rule to <5200? Are there any other
configs on the firewall that would help the situation?
