dts + execute task very urgent

i am calling stored procedure in DTS
i want to check on success or failure
if stored proecedure failed i will send out email
othrewise go to next step

can any one help me to solve this proble

Can you not just use workflow, the green and red arrows to link the
tasks together? On Failure to the mail task, On Success to the next
task.
