I use Office 2003 and my Excel Driver (Jet) is 4.00.6019.00 dated 29/8/2002.
Googling though would suggest this is not an Excel 2003 error as it does
appear in other versions

I have a dts which exports to .xls. The output file can
be opened by excel 97, 2000 &2002 w/o any problem. But
when I try to open it with Excel 2003, it says "damage to
the file was so extensive that repairs were not
possible." Have tried from multiple 2003 instances with
same result. I installed MDAC 2.8 and Jet4.0 service
pack 8 but those didn't help. Is there an odbc driver
specially for Excel 2003 I should be using? If so where
can I get it. |
