Default DTS "Error opening datafile" - 11-17-2003 , 07:52 PM

I have a DTS package which creates a connection to a SQL
Server database table. It then writes the contents of the
a table in the database to an ASCII text file in a folder
on the same machine using a Transform Data task. My NT
domain account is the owner of the package and my account
has write access to the folder and file.

When I run the package I get the following error: "Error
opening datafile: The device is not ready."

Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?

Thanks.

Is this even when you run the package manually ?

This is my first experience with DTS. How would I run the
package manually?

Thanks for taking time to help me with this.

Double click on the package in EM.
There is a green play button at the top. Press it
