Hello I created a DTS Package in my machine it runs fine on my machine (local). bt when i set up a job (to run on server) i get an error message. also when i try to open the dts package on the server i also get an error. if i open the package and try to click on the transfrom data task between a sql server and sybase i get this error. any ideas? Error: -2147467259 |

Hello Fab, So you obviously have an issue with this package and the server. The error is -2147467259. I get this error only when i try to create a sybase odbc connection. Hello Fab, Do you have the Sybase drivers on the server? Can you "See" the Sybase server from your SQL Server? Allan The error is -2147467259. I get this error only when i try to create a sybase odbc connection. Yes I have sybase installed.... and yes i can see the server. Hello Fab, So you have Sybase drivers on the SQL Server, the SQL Server can see the Sybase Server. What about the DSN with which you are connecting to the Sybase Server. I presume this is specified in the package so do you have one of the exact same name on the SQL Server? Allan Yes I have sybase installed.... and yes i can see the server. correct. FYI. Even if i try to create a brand new package on the sql server i can add any data connection except for syabase. I only get this error when i try to add or open an existing sybase data connection. Thx.
