DTS or distributed query?

I need to insert some rows from a table in server1 to a table in server2.
Does anyone have any advice on the best approach. I want to end up with
something that is really solid.

Well because you are asking on a DTS forum I am bound to say DTS :-)

You could of course use a linked server but I still favour DTS for its
ease of setup and its ease of use.
