Why DTS Designer doesn't shows description of Data Transformation Task, as
it does make for any other kind of task? It's pretty uncomfortably.

I'd say it is a feature request, but you can hover over it to get the
tooltip. You could always send you request to sqlwish at mivcrosoft.com.
It is not a problem in SQL 2005 though.
