Hello all, I have a user who is experiencing a very unusual problem with the DTS Designer. When she trys to create a new DTS package, she is immediately greeted with a message box with a title called "DTS Designer Error" and the message is about 13 boxes. The only option is to click OK, and when she does, the DTS Designer window opens normally. However, she has only 2 connection choices to choose from in the Connections toolbox, but all of the Task options are available. Originally she had SQL Server 2000 Developer edition loaded on her workstation (Win XP). She removed this version and then just loaded the client tools, but that didn't work. I too removed the client tools and did a reload, but came up with the same results. I also applied SP3a and the latest hotfixes to the client tools, but this didn't help. She has Visual Studio 6 and Visual Studio .NET loaded on her workstation too, and I'm wondering if maybe there is something conflicting between these products and the SQL Server 2000 Client Tools. Has anyone ever seen this problem before? Thanks, Jason |
