Default DTS connection to Exchange 2003 - 12-20-2005 , 01:25 PM

I need to move some data generated from a SQL Server 2000 scheduled job over
to Exchange 2003 calendar. After some research, it appears that a DTS package
could do the trick for me.

My questions is, does anyone know how to connect to Exchange from SQL DTS? I
know there should be some support for its driver. Any articles, websites,
etc... of any help?

Also, can you think of another practical solution for the above scenario
other than DTS?

Thanks in advance for any help.

John,

You cannot use DTS to connect to Exchange. See this KB article:

Thanks Vadim,

This article surely helps because I was going to invest some time in trying
to figure out how to connect to Exchange in DTS.

This question might not belong in this newsgroup but out of curiosity, do
you know if an ASP.NET application can insert data into Exchange Calendar?

I think ASP.NET application can insert data into Exchange - think of
Web Outook. I would be surprised if it is not in ASP.NET

Vadim.
