Here is the scenario:

W2K server, SQL 8.0 (2K)

(don't know much more as I'm not in charge of that
box and absolute UNIX/LINUX illiterate)

stored in Codepage CP862, which is the only one they can show correctly.
(info from ORA admin)

I've received login/pass for Oracle box and created DTS package on my SQL
server.
(after installing and configuring all... oracle client 9.2.0.1, Oracle ODBC
9.00.13 ....)

now all works like a charm but... no matter what i try I cant get the
codepage right
after the data import on the SQL side.

Any good ) advice is greatly appreciated...
