Default DTS between Oracle and Sqlserver - 02-15-2005 , 12:17 PM

I'm now trying to transfer some data from an Oracle database to sqlsever,I
had two questions:

1) There are two providers available( ODBC and OLEDB ) for connecting to
oracle database.which one is better?

2)Are there some guidlines for this specific situation (Transferring between
Oracle and Sqlserver) which gives me a better underestanding of possible
difficulties that I might encouter in the transformation(along with
solutions)

Thanks for your time.

Ali

You will need to install the Oracle Drivers from Oracle first and then I
use the Microsoft OLEDB provider for Oracle
