Q. Why Aren't Global Variables Available in the ActiveX Script Task?
A. Access to global variables is not supported in Beta 2.

Are Global Variables going to be available in the release version? Or
is this merely not yet supported in the Betas?

I am not sure that the answer is correct in any event but yes you will have
access to variables in the Script Task.
