Is DTEXEC included in SQL Server 2005 Express Edition? If no, is it possible to put on a server only the dtexec.exe file in order to execute a dtsx? Thanks |

Yes, I believe DTExec and DTExecUI are both included in SQL Server 2005 Express. But you may need to get the one with 'advanced services'. It is free as well. -- Todd C [If this response was helpful, please indicate by clicking the appropriate answer at the bottom] "Pasquale" wrote: Is DTEXEC included in SQL Server 2005 Express Edition? You will have to check Books On Line for detailed documentation. Also, Microsoft web site might help you with feature comparison between full-blown SQL Server and Express editions. -- Todd C "Pasquale" wrote: I have tried to install the advanced serviced but I cannot find the dtexec.exe file.
