Default Drivers doesn't appear in win2003 - 04-26-2004 , 09:46 AM






Hello
We just upgraded from win2k to win2003 on our sql server 2000 and we can't see the other drivers like excel,access conncetions in DTS packages is there a way we can load them how do they come they used to come default in win 2k
all the packages which have connections to excel and access failed

Those drivers should come with MDAC. Can you see the drivers if you look at
creating a DSN?

I can see the drivers when creating DSN but the my DTS can't see those.

I can look at the drivers but my dts doesn't see them..

OK.

Can you try reregistering the DTS dlls as detailed here.

Redistributing DTS with your program
(http://www.sqldts.com/Default.aspx?225)

If that does not work and you are on the latest SP dor SQL Server then can
you try redoing MDAC?
