Default Database Copy Wizard for large database - 06-09-2005 , 06:44 PM

Is it adequate to use the Database Copy Wizard for large databases.
The database is about 20 GB

Personally I would use BACKUP/RESTORE

Me too, even in that size I would rather trust on my own mistake rather than
of those from the wizard ;-)

- I'm a beginner ... How would you use backup/restore between a server on a
laptop and a desktop.

I tried the wizard and keep getting a "not trusted" error.
I tried your suggestion for backup and restore and cannot restore from any
other drive than the local drive that I saved it to.
