Default Data transform task & activeX Script - 10-18-2004 , 09:51 AM

Hi,

Is it possible to modify the destination table of a data transform
task?
(to copy table from production environment to pre-production
environment)

In my development environment, i use databseName.user.table as
destination but, i need to change it in
databaseNameProduction.userProduction.table in production environment!
I don't have this issue with the source because i use a custom sql
query (i don't specify th database name and the user in my select
query).

DBA don't want to change anything in my dts package, so, i have to do
that myself...

Thanks for your help!
I really don't know how to do that!!

To manually change it you can use the Disconnected Edit feature and change
the DestinationObjectName property of the DataPump task.

To automate this have a look at this article-

Changing the DataPump Source and Destination Tables
