Default Data Source Views - 11-26-2005 , 07:38 AM

Hi,
I want to know the purpose and use of Data Source Views in Packages. Is
there some way to export data from the data source view to sql server table.
Thanks,
Imran.

Yes you can use them to export data in an SSIS package

http://wiki.sqlis.com/default.aspx/S...eAdapters.html

BOL has a good description of a Data Source View here

ms-help://MS.SQLCC.v9/MS.SQLSVR.v9.en/extran9/html/62bc2377-ed49-4ebc-a23e-718e0f9d8d60.htm
