Default data for source column is too large for the specvified buffer size - 10-10-2003 , 04:05 PM

While I am trying to load the data from Excel file to Sql
Server using DTS, it is showing me an error message --
"data for source column is too large for the specvified
buffer size". It is showing for a particular column in
Excel file which is having format in Excel as General. And
the maximum length of the value of this field is 276
character. Is there any limitation when we pull data from
Excel?

Please let me know if anybody has any clarification on that
