Default Custom Task registration issue - 08-23-2004 , 09:29 AM

Hello, All!

I'm implement custom task on VB6. This task work well. But different
users on the same server report errors concerned with this custom task.
If user A register task, it can use it without problem. But user B on
the same machine can see this task in package, but task raise errors like
'ActiveX object can't create object'.
Can I register task for all users? How this issue can be avoided?

With best regards, Alexander Sinitsin. E-mail: al_sin[dog]ukr.net

Are both user and user B actually sat logged onto the server?

Are you getting confused with the location of DTS, which is client side,
so if I register a task sat at my workstation, then it is only available
on my machine, not even the server, unless you register on the server
machine as well.
