Default Create 'Global' Functions - Possible? - 09-02-2003 , 12:18 PM

Is there a way I can access a function within an ActiveX script in DTS from
anywhere within the package?

For instance... I would like to be able to call from within any activeX
script within the package to retrieve a value from a table in a database
based on the name of the row. Keeping 1 function would obviously be easier
than trying to maintain multiple copies of the code.

If someone can suggest a better way, I'm open to that too!

Thanks

TR

If you are a PASS member then go and have a look at some of the past
presentations by Trey Johnson. He has done some nice demos for solving
this problem in several of his presentations.

Thanks Darren, I think with some tinkering I can make it work.
