Yup - either disconnected edit or using dynamic properties and/or within
ActiveX scripts.

Will mess up dependencies - be careful!

Be very very careful. It is always best to do this right up front before
defing any dependencies.

In particular, be sure to update the reference to the task under its
corresponding step.

To elaborate, the step has TaskName property that relates the step to
the task. If renaming the step too, which makes sense, then for any
workflow, the succeeding step owns the workflow that has StepName
property relating the constraint to the preceding step. BTW it is
simplest is you do this before you add any workflow.
