Hi all, Is it possible to change the owner of a DTS package? The reason I ask is that I am trying to tighten security on our SQL Servers and have a problem with DTS. Our developers have a development SQL Server (2000) that they construct their DTS packages on. They then email the DBA (moi!) to have the DTS package and associated tables moved into the live environment. Sometimes they have to go in and change the DTS package in the live environment and when they do they get an error message along the lines of Only the Package Owner Or a member Of sysadmin can change a DTS package. What would be useful would be to change the owner to the developers Live DB login when I've imported the DTS package. At the moment I have had to make the developers members of the sysadmin role, and it doesn't sit happily with me. Any ideas? -- Regards Tony |
