I installed BIDS 2008 on the same machine as BIDS 2005. Now whenever I try
and open an SSIS package in BIDS 2005 it cause the application to close. I
have been able to open up a Reporting Services project and then open the SSIS
project (which by configuration closes the existing SSRS project) and BIDS
remains open. However if you open a SSIS package first the BIDS environment
closes without warning. It is just annoying to have to open a SSRS project
everytime I want to work on my SSIS project.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so how do you resolve?
