I am struggling, can someone point me in the right direction. I am trying to setup backups, or maintanence plans for my SQL 2005 standard databases. These databases were converted from sql 2000. They are working fine, but my CA brightstor backups fail as do my SQL backups. CA brightstor fails to backup the tht full text index but backs up the database, where as SQL backup fails stating "system.data.sqlclient.sqlerror: The backup of the file or filegroup "sysft_PubCat1" is not permitted because it is not online. Backup can be performed bu using the FileGroup or FIle caluses to restrict the selection to include only online data. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)" I don't see that option, on the "tasks, backup dialog windows" and how do I backup the full text index or do I really need to back that up? Thanks in advance for your help / advice. |
