Based on same source code as XPSMTP (http://sqldev.net/xp/xpsmtp.htm), there
now is SMTPTask which provides the same level of functionality as XPSMTP,
but packaged as a DTS custom task for seamless integration in to DTS. No
MAPI, pure SMTP based, support for HTML mail etc. The task is currently
available as a test release at http://sqldev.net/dts/SMTPTask.htm
