yes. in my case somebody crated/altered domain account for sql server agent
not according to the policy, so it's password has expired that same day.
after fixing that all went back to where it supposed to be. would have seen
that earlier if we would bounce out servers often, but such a thing does not
happen for month and month...
policy violations are not really expected every day in our case either, so
it took some time to find.
