Default Accidentally deleted DTS packet. How can I restore it? - 08-07-2004 , 11:27 AM

I have not saved it previously. Does it save in any

Many thanks

Cheers,

If you have never saved the DTS package then it is in memory at that point
and that's that. DELETED suggests it was saved somewhere though.

DTS packages have a number of storage locations and you offer no details as
to where, if it was previously stored, you got your package.

The two most usual places are

In the filesystem with a .DTS extension
In MSDB (You can view these through the Data Transformation Services | Local
Packages in EM.
