I have a package that run a number of other packages When the package is run in full the whole process works correctly, but when each step of the header package is run the above error is returned. Most of the time the package seems to complete successfully, but does sometimes fail (Again odd). These packages are very small packages that load data from a texts files into the database. Support.Microsoft suggest a spurious pbcancel is being set in activeX, but these packages do not use ActiveX. We are in our second week of test these very small packages, and have tried all sorts of ideas. As a background all users are "System Admin" and have local admin privilages. We have removed all but the absolute mimimum into a test package to remove other possibilities. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions? |

You could try calling each package individually. Try setting everything to "Execute On Main Package Thread" -- Allan Mitchell MCSE,MCDBA, (Microsoft SQL Server MVP) www.SQLDTS.com - The site for all your DTS needs. www.SQLIS.com - You thought DTS was good. here we show you the new stuff. www.konesans.com - Consultancy from the people who know "Tractor boy" <Tractor boy (AT) discussions (DOT) microsoft.com> wrote in message news:8B246742-E9D6-4E0B-97F2-82971A8A0C26 (AT) microsoft (DOT) com...
