Hello Axel,

Thank you for your reply. Based on my reseasrch, in Win2008, httpcfg is not
supported any more. However, you could use "netsh http" command. For
example:

netsh http add sslcert ipport=192.168.1.10:443 certhash=
69c5dc80e0e485c6501ce7da15f6342372cd2340
appid={ba195980-cd49-458b-9e23-c84ee0adcd75}

You could run "netsh http add /?" for more details.

Also, you could check the certficate by running:

netsh http show sslcert

I have forwarded this to the document team so that they may uprade document
to compatible with Win2008.

If anything is unclear, please feel free to let's know. Thank you.

Hi Peter,

thank you again for your reply.

D'Oh... This seems to become more complicated than I thought... But I'm keen to learn this..

I've now created a certificate using IIS 7 (that's currently the only way I know how to do this)..

I can see the hash from there but I can't possibly find any "application GUID" anywhere. I've never heard about this as well.. Where am I supposed to get such application GUID from? Which one should I use?

Your help is very much appreciated, Peter!

Best regards,
Axel Dahmen
