We would like to setup a two node cluster using windows server 2003. We do NOT have a shared, block-level disk device to use for the quorum disk. Windows Server 2003 however provides an alternative, optional quorum mechanism that is known as the majority node set. The question is: Can this mechanism be used with a two node cluster and is there any documentation available about the setup of a two node cluster using this majority node set mechanism.

As far as I understand it, the only problem with such a configuration
(only 2 nodes) is that if one node fails, the cluster can't remain
online because you don't reach the majority (which is n/2 +1) of
nodes online.
