Default Veritas backup of Share Point 2003 databases on SQL Cluster - Fail - 04-08-2005 , 11:36 PM

I have recently implimented a Windows active/passive cluster with SQL
2000. I have also setup a Share Point Farm with its databases on the
cluster. I have purchased Veritas 10.0, which is designed to backup
the Share Point environment for Share Point 2002. In Veritas, when
trying to select the Share Point Farm for backup, I am prompted for
credentials. The backup account is a domain admin account. I am able
to backup the databases directly, and also backup the web servers in
the farm. I have not gotten a lot of help from Veritas on this, so I
have done some testing of my own. I installed Share Point and put the
databases on a stand alone SQL 2000 server and the option works fine.
It does not seem to authenticate properly with the cluster environment.
Has anyone been involved with this type of environment or this type of
issue? If so, what can be done to get the Share Point environment
option to work when backing up Share Point databases on a Microsoft
Cluster?
