Our env: SQL Server 2005 Ent SP2 64-bit, two-node single-instance failover cluster, Win2003 Ent SP1, 16GB Here's our problem: The startup parameters were modified using SQL Cong Mgr by adding a -T1118 at end (recommended when doing tempdb striping). We keep getting error on SQL service startup (after failing over) that it thinks the flag is part of the master database file name and it fails!! Any help will be appreciated. Thanks |

Exact message is: FCB::Open: Operating system error 2(The system cannot find the file specified.) occurred while creating or opening file 'D:\MSSQL05\DATA\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\DATA\mastlog.ldf -T1118'. Diagnose and correct the operating system error, and retry the operation.
