Default URGENT: evciting cluster node - 10-01-2004 , 11:19 AM

Hello Clustur Gurus
We have an active/pasive mode cluster set up in prod environment.
We had a n/w maintainence last weekend. both the nodes were up and running.
Due to some error(which is not known why) the cluster failed over to the
secondary node.
Now the primary node services would not start. we checked the cluster node.
The system Admin want's to evict the primary node, rebuild it again. but our
concern is would that do anything to the secondary node, which is running
perfectly fine. but we need to fix this problem ASAP.
Once evicted what would we need to do. in terms of Sql Server. do we need to
install again on that node.

this is sort of urgent.
if any of you guys can help that would be great.

Thanks in advance for any help
