I have a quick question, we are migrating a single Single server 7 DB to a new SQL Server 2K Enterprise Cluster. I am being told by another divisions DBA that I must detach the DB open upgrade it using my Developer addition of SQL 2K, Then Attach it to the cluster. I think that this person must be wrong. Can anyone help me out. Why would we not be able to detach the SQL 7 DB and then attach the DB to the cluster???

To answer your question. You can attach your SQL Server 7.0 user databases
to a clustered instance of SQL Server 2000. But not the system databases.
