OK...I will upg to sql 2000 sp3... However, What about upgrading the O/S on the cluster servers? I have 2 nodes, cl-1 and cl-2 Can I take CL-2 out of the cluster, UPG CL-2 to win 2003 ent and add back to cluster? Then do the same with CL-1? I am trying to get as little downtime as possible... -----Original Message----- You must have SQL 2000 SP3a on the cluster before you can upgrade it to Windows 2003. -- Geoff N. Asymmetrical clusters are not supported or recommended except during a rolling cluster upgrade. It probably will work, but since clustering is part of a high availability strategy, why would you want to set up something known to be less stable than it could be? -- Geoff N.
