Default tempdb file placement on active/active - 05-06-2004 , 11:56 PM

Given tempdb is recreated on startup is there any reason it must reside on a shared cluster resource
After installation to the shared resource (because other systemdbs will need to reside here), i would like to move tempdb to internal disk

Has anyone tried this? Or have any reference material that details if this is feasible or not

Thanks!

Since storing any database on a local drive is not supported on a cluster,
I would not recommend doing this.
