Hi all,

If I have a striped mirror set (RAID 1 + 0) on my SAN for my SQL Server
data files, would I be able to put the mirrored drives in different
drive enlosures?

I'm trying to cater for the case where a SAN drive enclosure catches
fire by putting the disks that mirror the disks in the toasted enclosure
in a second enclosure. A not-putting-all-my-eggs-in-one-basket kind of
thing.

Is this manufacturer specific?
