I want to store Database files and Log files for the QA
environment on NAS. But I am getting the following error:
Server: Msg 5184, Level 16, State 2, Line 1
Cannot use file '\\QASQL02\QASQL\test_data.mdf' for
clustered server. Only formatted files on which the
cluster resource of the server has a dependency can be
used.

FYI- I am able to successfully attach these files on
another server which is not clustered.

Is it possible to do the same in a clustered environment-
the cluster is active/active.

Data files on a NAS are only supported in a specific instance as outlined
