Hi Everyone, I have an Active/Avtive 2 node cluster running WIN 2003 with SQL Server 2000 (SP3a). Over the last couple of days i have been experimenting with it and have noticed the following behaviour and was wondering whether it was normal. When all resourses are running on NODE2 (including quorum, cluster name and cluster ip ) and i right click NODE 1 in Cluster administration and choose "Stop Cluster Service", NODE 1 becomes inactive with a red cross. I thought this is normal behaviour... However, when all resourses are running on NODE1 and I "Stop Cluster Service" on NODE2, the whole cluster shuts down with a warning message along the lines of "cluster not available". At this time, i notice that both NODE1 and NODE2 has blue icon next to it. To me this behavious is unusual as NODE1 should still be able to service request even though NODE2 has its cluster services turned off. I really appreciate any feedback about this issue.
