Default Stand-alone to Cluster upgrade - 06-15-2004 , 12:42 PM

Hi,
If I have an existing SQL 2000 server that I want to move into a cluster,
will I need to reinstall from scratch, or can I simply upgrade the OS to
Enterprise, then upgrade the SQL to enterprise? Of course, my goal is to
leave the data intact (the data is already stored on a SAN, not local).
Thanks,
RR

Check out the following topics in SQL Server 2000 Books on Line:

How to upgrade from a default instance to a default clustered instance of
SQL Server 2000 (Setup)

How to upgrade from a local default instance to a clustered, named instance
of SQL Server 2000 (Setup)
