I have built two new SQL 2005 clusters on Windows 2003 R2. I have the lastest
services packs on for both and I have remote connections and named pipes
turned on. With that said, I am getting a few errors that stump me:
Eventid = 124 Source = SQLWEP
Named Pipes Provider: Could not open a connection to SQL Server [2].
SQLErrorInfo: 08001
HResult: 0x80004005
Source: Microsoft SQL Native Client
Event ID 124, source SQLWEP
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When
connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that
under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections.
SQLErrorInfo: 08001
HResult: 0x80004005
Source: Microsoft SQL Native Client
Eventid = 124 Source = SQLWEP
Login timeout expired
SQLErrorInfo: HYT00
HResult: 0x80004005
Source: Microsoft SQL Native Client
Lastly, MOM is throwing this error (Source MOM, eventid 25402)
The Microsoft Operations Manager WMI provider 'SQL Server Database Mirroring
monitor - Default instance' could not register query "SELECT * FROM
DATABASE_MIRRORING_STATE_CHANGE". Ensure that the WMI Query is valid.

Any thoughts?
Thanks
