Default SQL2005 named instance can't be failed-over - 06-09-2010 , 10:08 AM

Howdy, all.

I've got a two-node (active/active) SQL 2005 cluster running on Server 2008
Enterprise on which a named instance (ICR) has been installed and is running
perfectly on node 2 of the cluster (the default instance runs on node 1 and
is easily failed-over to node 2). I am, however, unable to fail the named
instance over to node 1 of the cluster (the resource will change ownership
but fails to come online) and I suspect, smarty that I am, that it's because
the SQL services for the instance don't exist on node 1 as they do on node 2.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what was missed during the named
instance installation/what can be done to create the missing services
entries?
