Not sure how exactly it affects your SQL Server but if it takes the cluster
group offline and tries to re-start it you can change this behaviour.
In "Cluster Administrator" change the properties of your SQL Server Fulltext
Resource to either "Do not restart" or "Restart" but uncheck "Affect the
group". It's on Advanced tab.

I have a SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition on a Windows
2000 Advanced Server. This cluster is set up as
Active/Active. Periodically the SQL Server FullText
service stops.
How should I change my cluster dependency settings so that
if the SQL Server Fulltext stops it does not effective my
SQL Server?
Thanks,
