Default SQL server does not see newly added cluster drive resource - 06-17-2008 , 09:15 AM

Hi,

I have added a new sql cluster drive resource into my cluster and brought
this online succesfully. However, SQL still cannot see this drive when I try
to add new database files.

Any ideas would be gratefully received!

You have to make SQL dependent on the disk resource. Look at the
dependencies of the SQL Server service and the existing disk resources and
match the new one to them.
