Default SQL Server Cluster Service Accounts - 10-06-2004 , 11:19 AM

I'm aware of KB article 239885 about how to channge SQL accounts on a SQL
virtual server. However, is there an easier way to ensure the account has the
correct privileges (i.e. run the SQL Server installation setup again and set
the accounts there)?

Thanks in advance for your help.

To change the account under which the SQL Server virtual server or SQL Server Agent runs, you must use SQL Server Enterprise Manager. Using this tool to change the
service password will make the change on all the nodes and grant the necessary permissions to the selected user account.

If for whatever reasons, you cannot use Enterprise Manager then review the following for the necessary permissions
