Default SQL Server Agent and Fulltext Services Autostart? - 01-14-2004 , 01:19 PM

Hello,

How do I set the SQL Server Agent and Fulltext Services to
Autostart within our SQL Server 2000/Windows 2003 EE Server
environment? In non-clustered SQL Server, I just set the
services to startup "Automatic" within the Windows Services
screen, but I doubt that this is the correct place under a
clustered environment. The services start up fine when I
start them within Cluster Administrator, but if there is a
reboot, the services do not automatically restart.

Regards,

Michael

You need to leave them start manually.
when clussvc is started , it will try to start the cluster resources such as sqlserver, agent, search etc.
this shouldn't be controlled by Service control manager in a cluster.
