Default SQL Server 2008 cluster- Missing SQL Agent Cluster Resource - 01-22-2009 , 02:20 AM

We built a SQL Server 2008 two node failover cluster (Operating System:
Windows Server 2008). The SQL Server Resource is working but the SQL
Server Agent-cluster resource is missing in cluster management after
installation (contrary to the SQL Server 2005 cluster installations). Is
this correct?. When trying to start SQL Server Agent we get the
following error: SQLServerAgent could not be started (reason: Unable to
connect to server '(local)';
SQLServerAgent cannot start). The SQL Server Fulltext-cluster resource
is also missing.

Are you sure SQL is installed to the cluster and not locally on one node?

Yes, SQL is installed to the cluster. The SQL Server-cluster Resource
works on both servers of the 2-node cluster.
