Scenario:

Two months ago:
Two node SQL 2005 cluster, one node evicted, and active node had SQL
Server reinstalled under the default instance but using a new Virtual
name.

Now:
One Node SQL 2005 cluster, Evicted node still has SQL server 2005
installed under default instance using the old Virtual name.

Can I run the SQL uninstall on the evicted node without causing issues
to the new cluster? When I initiate the uninstall it reference the old
instance and virtual name.

I would like to get SQL2005 uninstalled from the evicted node. Rejoin
it to the new cluster and reinstall SQL so that it will be another
node in the cluster.
