Could you post or point me in the right direction as to where to find info on configuring Remote Desktop to function WITHOUT Terminal Server installed? "Uttam Parui[MS]" wrote: Hello, As you have found out from Microsoft Knowledge Base articles, clustered (i.e. virtual) instances of SQL Server 2000 are NOT supported for installation on Windows Server 2003 if the Terminal Server (formerly Terminal Services in Application Server mode) component is installed. Remote Desktop for Administration is another part of the Terminal Services technology that is offered in Windows Server 2003. You can enable remote administration of servers with Remote Desktop for Administration on any computer that is running the Windows Server 2003 family of products, even if Terminal Server is not installed. Remote Desktop for Administration is FULLY SUPPORTED in Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
