Although supported, the intent is to provide an upgrade platform without
upgrading the SS2K installation directly in order to provide time to migrate
the production databases/provide a failback option.

Due to the restrictions of the support policy,
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/327518/en-us, it is not a good idea to
considering running this in a production environment for an "extended"
period of time.

How long do you think it would take to migrate all of your SS2K databases to
SS2K5?
